The process began as a group project, with assigned teams of two. I was paired with another design student, and together we were to come up with a design solution for a Murder Mystery Party, hosted by a casino for its VIP members. We were to collaborate to design an invitation, a poster, and two t-shirts for the party. Collaborating our different styles and coming up with a cohesive solution was challenging, but very good practice. We were also assigned three art movements, Surrealism, Sachplakat, and Streamline, which we researched and used as inspiration for our design.
